29 CFR 1910.36(g)(4): Objects projecting into the exit route reduced the width of the exit route to less than the minimum width requirements for exit routes: On or about January 9, 2017, at the RMR Atlanta, LLC dba Recycling Management Resources recycling warehouse: Employees performing paper recycling activities were exposed to smoke inhalation when an exit was obstructed by a cement block that projected into the exit route reducing the width of the exit route width to approximately 18-inches.

29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: On or about January 9, 2017, at the RMR Atlanta, LLC dba Recycling Management Resources recycling warehouse: a) Employees performing paper recycling activities were exposed to smoke inhalation when access to two fire extinguishers was obstructed by a cement block placed in front of the fire extinguishers by the employer. b) Employees performing paper recycling activities were exposed to smoke inhalation when two fire extinguisher locations were not marked to allow employees to identify the location of the fire extinguishers.
