29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. a) Shop Area: On or about January 12, 2017, and at times prior, the employer failed to ensure that an eyewash/shower unit was located in the area where employees handle materials such as, but not limited to, EF Green. Employees were exposed to the hazards of severe chemical burns.
