29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge 6 feet or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. 1) Jobsite: An employee engaged in the installation of a new sign and working from the roof rack of a work van was exposed to fall hazards greater than 6 feet without the use of a fall protection system. Condition observed on or about 13 JAN 2017. 2) Jobsite: An employee engaged in the installation of a new sign got off of a flat roof by means of a bucket lift without fall protection in place. Condition was observed on or about 13 JAN 2017
