29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields: a) On or about 01/19/17 in the High Bay; employees were exposed to radiant energy burns to eyes and fire hazards when a large sheet of cardboard was attached to either side of the welding screen at the first welding location immediately to the west of the entrance to the welding area. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
