29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling:    a.)    On or about January 19, 2017, the employer did not ensure employees were protected while using the back platform to access the top of the wooden rack in the area of #9 and #10. Employees are required to use the platform to access the top of the rack to gather material and are exposed to falls of approximately 6 feet to the concrete below.     b.)    On or about January 19, 2017, the employer did not ensure employees were protected while walking on top of wooden racks, such as but not limited to, racks in areas #9 and #10. Employees are required to gather product and attach the crane hook to bundles of product and are exposed to falls of approximately 8 feet from the edge of the rack and from holes between beams.     c.)    On or about January 19, 2017, the employer did not ensure employees were protected while climbing steel racks. Employees are required to remove the top layers of the steel racking to place product on the lower levels and are exposed to falls over 4 feet while attaching the crane hook to the rack.
