At a residential construction site, employees performing framing activities used circular saws and nail guns and were not provided with eye protection exposing the employees to eye and face injuries.

29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws:  At a residential construction site, employees performing framing work used an extension cord to power equipment and used an air compressor with the flexible cords outer sheathing pulled away and not provided with strain relief exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.
