29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) At 1409 Regency Rd. Gulf Shores, Alabama: On or about January 25, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to install a metal roof on a high slope roof without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 8 feet 5 inches to the ground below. THE RUIZ CONSTRUCTION WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501 (B)(11), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1082165, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS ARRIFMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2015, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 24390 US HWY 98, DAPHNE, ALABAMA.
