29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) At the site, on January 19, 2017, the employer did not ensure employees who was performing work on a roof were protected from falls through the use of a personal arrest fall system such as, but not limited to a harness and lanyard system, exposing the employee to the hazards associated with fall hazards that measures twelve feet from the ground level.
