29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. a) For the construction site, as occurring on or about 1/25/2017, an employee installing drains used the top of an 8 ft. stepladder as a step and was exposed to fall hazards of 8 ft. A ladder training program for employees which trained employees on how to recognize ladder safety hazards was not provided.
