29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: The employer did not ensure appropriate fall protection was implemented for employees performing commercial roofing operations on a flat roof that was less than 50 feet wide. The employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately eighteen (18) feet. The employer (Taylor Roofing Solutions, Inc.) was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard,29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1093475, citation number 1, item number 1B and was affirmed as a final order on 11/25/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 19 & 21 N. 20th St., Pekin, IL.
