29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and/or a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift:Note:  As of January 1, 1998, subpart M of this part (1926.502(d)) provides that body belts are not acceptable as part of a personal fall arrest system.  The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated.   a) U. S. Post Office, 2500 Eastern Blvd., Montgomery, AL 36123:  On or about January 26, 2017 and prior to, the employer exposed employee(s) to hazards of a 12 foot fall from not wearing fall protection while performing painting from an aerial lift.

S. Post Office, 2500 Eastern Blvd., Montgomery, AL :  On or about January 26, 2016, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to chemicals without maintaining Safety Data Sheets on materials used on site including but not limited to: Valspar Duramax paint.

29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6): The employer did not provide the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format to employees who wear respirators when such use was not required by the employer:   a)U. S. Post Office located at 2500 Eastern Blvd, Montgomery, AL 36123:  On or about January 26, 2017 and prior to, employees were exposed to inhalation hazards from painting tasks.  The employer provides and allows voluntary use of NIOSH approved dust masks for work tasks and did not assure provide training or appendix D.
