Section (5)(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer does not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from the recognized hazard of being struck-by which causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. On or about January 31, 2017, at a well drilling location where an employee was exposed to struck by hazards while working on hoist cables without the line being securely fastened.
