29 CFR 1910.176(b): Storage of material created a hazard:  a) Center and west wall of repair shop:  On January 31, 2017 and at times prior thereto the spare part bins were not secured to the wall or to the floor to prevent a potential displacement and/or tip over hazard of the bins.     b) Repair shop: On January 31, 2017 and at times prior thereto the tarp lifting pole was stored on a material storage rack in such a manner that it presented a head strike hazard to employees walking and working in the area.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding were not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) Repair shop: On January 31, 2017 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a rotating part hazard when walking or working near the JET belt sander/disc grinder.  The work rest/table had been removed from the disc grinder side of the machine, leaving the rotating disc unguarded when the machine was in use.  The machine was positioned such that the disc grinder faced a walkway.       Note) Certification of corrective action is required for this item.
