29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) At the jobsite, on the lower roof, on or about 1/17/17: A worker was installing siding while standing and walking on a low slope roof, approximately 8.5 feet from ground without fall protection of any kind. This worker fell from the roof onto the ground, sustaining multiple injuries, and requiring hospitalization. Abe Lincoln Services, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 10776690, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/1/15, with respect to a workplace located at 17 Jefferson Avenue, Geneva, NY.
