29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition shall be removed from service. All repairs shall be made by authorized personnel. On 30 January 2017 a Hyster PIV was not removed from service when it was not in a safe operating condition, in that it would lose acceleration while traveling and suddenly regain acceleration.
