29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders shall be used only for the purpose for which they were designed. 1- Jobsite: An employee installing a sign to the exterior wall of the Toasted Walnut Bar and Kitchen was standing on an A-frame ladder in the closed position thus exposing the employee to a fall hazard. The ladder was designed to be used in the open position. Condition was observed on or about 25 Oct 2016.
