Nor were the individual pods identified with a number that would correlate to their numbered control panels. Potential energy sources include but may not be limited to electrical and pneumatic. Employees perform unscheduled maintenance on the Carousel Pod system as needed. Note) Certification of corrective action is required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.147(d)(3): All energy isolating devices that were needed to control the energy to the machine or equipment were not physically located and operated in such a manner as to isolate the machine or equipment from the energy source(s): a) Carousel Pods, shipping area: On February 6, 2017 and at times prior thereto a metal cover was used as an isolating device for the system stop and controller power buttons for the White Carousel Pod system. As part of the informal energy control procedures for this machine, after the system stop and /or controller power buttons were pushed, the unsecured metal cover was hung over the buttons on the outside of the main power panel. Note) Certification of corrective action is required for this item.
