29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: On or about February 7, 2017, on the west side of the roof of a restaurant, an employee was exposed to struck-by hazards when using a nail gun to attach wood to a frame of restaurant without eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about February 7, 2017 on the west side of the roof of a restaurant, an employee was exposed to fall hazards of more than 6 feet while framing near an unprotected side and edge without a fall protection system.
