29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) On or about 1/11/2017, In the Cheese Make Room:  There was a lack of guarding while cleaning was performed on the Draining Matting Conveyor (DMC).    b) On or about 2/8/2017,  In the Cheese Make Room:  Rotating and moving agitators in the cheese vats where not guarded while employees were adding and distributing bacon.  c) On or about 2/8/2017, In the Cheese Make Room:  A return portion of hard plastic conveyor belt was not guarded after the sealer.  d) On or about 2/9/2017,  In the Cheese Make Room: Pinch points were not guarded created by conveyor transitions after the elevators.  e) On or about 2/9/2017, In the Cheese Make Room:  Shear points at the flipper were not adequately guarded.  f) On or about  2/9/2017, In the Cheese Make Room:  Shear points at the rotation table were not guarded.  Abatement documentation is required for these items.
