29 CFR 1910.213(r)(3): For combination or universal woodworking machines, each point of operation of any tool was not guarded as required for such a tool in a separate machine: (a) Heartwood Custom Woodworks, Inc., 725 Chambers Ave Bldg C, Eagle, CO 81631: On and before February 9, 2017 the employer did not ensure that the point of operation on the Copecrafter tool was guarded. This tool was used in combination with the shapers in the shop. An employee was injured when positioning a piece of wood of less than 7 inches under the pneumatic clamp. This condition lead to a partial fingertip amputation.
