29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point of operation guards were not designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone during the operating cycle:    On February 2, 2017, in the final assembly area the employer had a chime sprayer machine that was inadequately guarded at the point of operation. The chime sprayer machine is used to automatically spray paint the top of 55 gallon drums as they move through the machine on a roller conveyor. The east side of the machine had a small barrier guard and the west side of the machine did not have any safeguarding.
