OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards of being struck-by winch hook which were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) The employer did not ensure that hook and connecting link were compatible with each other while loading/unloading conex boxes. This violation occurred on or about February 9, 2017, and at times prior thereto; when employee was using hook and Yoke connector that were not compatible with each other while loading conex box onto trailer, exposing employee to struck-by hazards.
