29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1): The employer did not initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to comply with this part. On or about February 16, 2017, employees were exposed to vehicle struck-by hazards while working from an aerial lift located in the traveled way. The employer did not initiate and maintain programs that complied with this part related to the use of and hazards associated with self-propelled elevating work platforms in the employers safety program. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1926.200(g)(1): Construction areas were not posted with legible traffic signs at points of hazards: On or about February 16, 2017, the employer did not provide traffic signs at points of hazard that warned of construction work to vehicular traffic entering and exiting the street as traffic approached the work site. This exposed employees working from an aerial lift located in the traveled way to vehicle struck-by hazards. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
