Exception: When the employer can demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems, the employer shall develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502.   Located along various areas of the building #6 residential structure employees were observed performing truss erection layout activities walking unprotected sides or edges of perimeter exterior / interior stud wall top plates and flat truss end cords carrying trusses and performing rough terrain signaling associated work activities adjacent to the unprotected side or edge of a low sloped roof deck without conventional or regulation compliant alternative fall protection systems and were exposed to fall potentials in excess of 21 feet.
