29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    At the construction site located at 1983 state Line Road in Joplin, Missouri:  Employees were exposed to injury from an unguarded point of operation.  On or about February 14, 2017, the employer did not provide a guard for the point of operation on the Victaulic (Ridgid 300) pipe grooving machine.  Machine guarding was not provided while grooving short sections of pipe to prevent access to the point of operation through the pipe.
