29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about February 2, 2017, and at times prior, Edgewood Construction, LLC., did not ensure that employees were protected from falls of up to 21 feet, while setting up trusses and installing "outlookers" on the fascia of a residential building. Employer did not ensure the use fall protection systems resulting in an employee falling 16 feet to the ground below. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

Employees required to work at heights of up to 21 feet on a residential building were not trained on fall hazards.
