29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed:    On or about 2/23/2017 in the bakery production area(s) at 134 Elder Street, Bogart, GA: Where employees were performing sanitation work, service, maintenance, and repairs on equipment such as but not limited to Pan Washers, Mixers, and Likifiers, the employer did not perform periodic inspection on the equipment at least annually.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s):     On or about 2/23/2017 in the main line work area at 134 Elder Street, Bogart, GA: It was determined that employee(s) were exposed to an amputation hazard while making adjustments to the batter dispenser equipment in point of operation area where the metal guard used on the machinery did not prevent the employees hands from being exposed the danger zone.    29 CFR 1910.147(a)(2)(ii)(B): An employee was required to place a part of his or her body into an area on a machine or piece of equipment where work was actually performed upon the material being processed (point of operation) or where an associated danger zone existed during a machine operating cycle.
