29 CFR 1910.243(b)(2): Airhose and hose connections used for conducting compressed air to utilization equipment was not designed for the pressure and service to which they were subjected. a) Ernst Conservation Seeds, Inc. / 8884 Mercer Pike, Meadville, PA: On or about February 23, 2017 in the wet barn the Felco 70 pneumatic nippers used to cut branches to size was connected to the airline with a worm gear clamp (screw band clamp). Worm gear clamps are not designed or intended for use on for compressed airlines.
