29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 305 New York Ave., Jersey City, NJ Employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 25 feet by not utilizing fall protection equipment. Violation was disclosed on or about 02/21/2017. The KDG Contractor Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/17/2012 with respect to a workplace located at 551 40th St., Union City, NJ 07087.
