29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe: a) At 3264 East Avalon Parkway, Pike Road, Alabama: On or about March 6, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed her employee to operate a Makita skill saw with the guard wedged up exposing the blade and exposing the employee to amputation hazards. b) At 3264 East Avalon Parkway, Pike Road, Alabama: On or about March 6, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed her employee to operate a Mitre saw that did not have a guard therefore exposing the blade and exposing the employee to amputation hazards.
