29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) Jobsite - Employees were exposed to a fall hazard while working on the gas station canopy without adequate fall protection. Interstate Fire Protection was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 871407, citation number 01, item number 001, and was affirmed as a final order on 03/26/13, with respect to a workplace located at Route 1, Wells, Maine, 04090.
