29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Clean side, Folding Area: On or about March 6, 2017, and times prior thereto, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards from an in-going nip point on a Kannegiesser Dry Laundry Folding Machine (Model: FSM-22-L, SN: 216327), used to fold laundry. b) Clean side, Ironing: On or about March 6, 2017, and times prior thereto, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards from an in-going nip point on a Lavatec Ironer LR800 (#5), used to iron laundry. c) Clean side, Ironing: On or about March 6, 2017, and times prior thereto, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards from an in-going nip point on an American Sylon Ironer (#2), used to iron laundry.
