29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail and one stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge: Location: 640 St. John's Drive, Orange, CT 06477 The 30 inch wide stairway between the first floor front entryway and the second floor did not have a guardrail system on the right side ascending the stairway along the first six risers. On or about 6 March 2017, an employee descending the stairway from the second floor fell down the stairway to the first floor sustaining two broken ribs on the left side of the body.
