29 CFR 1910.147(f)(2)(i): Outside servicing personnel were engaged in activities covered by the scope and application of this standard, and the on-site employer and the outside employer did not inform each other of their respective lockout or tagout procedures. a) On or about March 7, 2017 or prior there to, on NMW-C, Vertical 5-axis Mill: The host employer, Quality Machine Products, did not review energy control procedures with employees of DMG Mori New West before servicing the control mechanism of the Mill. Power was disengaged by the contractor prior to maintenance activities by turning a rotational power switch without a lock out mechanism. NOTE: Abatement certification is required for this item.
