29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6): The employer did not provide the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format to employees who wear respirators when such use was not required by the employer: (a) Production area: On or about March 8, 2017 and at times prior thereto the employer did not provide employees wearing respirators voluntarily with basic advisory information on respirators as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134. Norshield Security Products, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1124773, citation number 3, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 4, 2016 with respect to a workplace located at 3232 Mobile Highway, Montgomery, Alabama 36108.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that material safety data sheets were readily accessible to the employees in their work area during each work shift: (a) Production area: On or about March 8, 2017 and at times prior thereto the employer did not ensure that electronic Safety data sheets (SDS) were readily accessible to employees in their work area in that employees had not been trained on how to access electronic safety data sheets and the computers used to access safety data sheets did not have back-up power incase of power outages.
