29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about at 3/15/17 located at 680 Colfax Ave, Cumming, GA., Employees were observed framing the roof and installing the roof truss system on a house that was under construction while working at the edge, the GC controlling employer did not ensure that fall protection was used by the employees while exposed to fall hazards of approximately up to 25- feet. The GC, was represented by Builder Grant Hafner was onsite and daily walked the site, he stated that he seen his framing contractor with harness but; never checked to see if the employees connected the harnesses to a lanyard, rope and anchor. He stated that his office was 100 yards from the jobsite and he did not know if they had lanyards. In addition, he stated that it is his responsibility to control the job site and safety.
