The CPR machine had various energy sources, such as, electrical (480V), air pressure system (approximately 8 inches water gauge), and potential energy (gravity feed) of ingredient(s) for product.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On 03/15/2017, Sensory Effects Flavoring Systems, located at 231 Rock Industrial Park Drive, Bridgeton, MO, had employee(s) exposed to hazards such as those created by rotating part(s). The #4 Mixing Vat in the Wet Room had grating openings too large to adequately protect the employee(s) from the rotating scraper blade(s). The rotating blade(s) was approximately 7.5 inches below the grating. The grating had openings which measured approximately 6 inch by 7 inch, 6 inch by 8 inch, and 6 inch by 14 inch.
