29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries. (a) At the USFS, Las Vegas Interagency Communication Center, room NL/107 and in the break room area, portable fire extinguishers were left free standing and not mounted, while the other was obstructed by Premo MK III box and materials. The US Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 929510, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/23/2013, with respect to a workplace located at USFS, 1200 Franklin Way, Sparks, NV 89431.
