29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure. a) At the Spring Mountain NRA, Area Manager's office, a flexible extension cord was used to plug-in the surge protector and computer equipment creating a fire hazard.

29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2): Exit access(es) were not at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points. a) At the Spring Mountain NRA, NEPA Planner's office, desk and furniture were obstructing the exit access, thereby reducing it to 24 inches wide. Employees had to maneuver around the narrowed exit access thereby impeding egress. The US Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 929510, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/28/2013, with respect to a workplace located at USFS, 1200 Franklin Way, Sparks, NV 89143.
