29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. On the north end of the job site, employees operated a Makita saw that had a cord with no strain relief and the outer flexible conduit pulled away straining the internal wiring, exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.
