29 CFR 1918.85(j)(3): The employer did not ensure that each employee exposed to a fall hazard was protected by a fall protection system meeting the requirements of 29 CFR 1918.85(k). a) Loading Bay 14, of the MV MSK Karlskrona Berth 2 Wando Welch Terminal: On or about March 15, 2017 at 10:55 a.m. a Hatch Tender was standing on the lashing platform over the weather deck between the railing and 2.5 feet from the edge of the platform . He was not protected from falls by fall protection systems exposing him to falls of up to 8 feet to the deck below.
