Employees used the power taps in an industrial setting with other power taps and extension cords series connected to provide power to computer equipment, fans, and other appliances. The power tap was mounted to the desk using wire zip ties. Violation observed on or about May 19, 2017 b. 630 Sullivan Rd, Elizabeth, NJ - Mobile desk adjacent to UNL7 The employer authorized the use of relocatable power taps (power strips) in a manner not intended by the manufacturer. Employees used the power taps in an industrial setting with other power taps and extension cords series connected to provide power to computer equipment, fans, and other appliances. An unmounted extinguisher was left unsecured on the floor in the aisle way. Violation observed on or about March 16, 2017 b. 6 30Sullivan Road, Elizabeth, NJ - East wall - Between Problem Solve Station and Door 60 The employer did not ensure that portable fire extinguishers were mounted where identified by the posited signs. Employees unmounted a fire extinguisher from the wall and laid it on its side on a mobile rack. Violation observed on or about May 19, 2017
