29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work areas. (a) Native Roots., 19 S Sunset Street, Longmont, CO 80501: On and before March 17, 2017, the employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work areas. Employees worked in the marijuana dispensary as bud tenders and used isopropyl alcohol to clean the counters and product containers. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards associated with the use of chemicals such as, but not limited to, isopropyl alcohol.

(a) Native Roots., 19 S Sunset Street, Longmont, CO 80501: On and before March 17, 2017, the employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area.
