29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. On or about March 20, 2017, on the jobsite where an employee was exposed to fall hazard of more than 15 feet while attached sheets of corrugated metal on the side of the building without using a fall protection system. D & M Steel Erectors was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 894120, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/26/2013 with respect to a workplace located at 3801 Knapp Road, Pearland, Texas 77581.
