29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. On or about March 20, 2017 one employee was installing metal roof panels on a new metal framed, 4:12 pitch low slope garage roof and was not protected by any means of personal fall protection, guardrails or safety nets, exposing him to a fall in excess of 8 feet to the ground below.
