29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached), where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface, is not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. On or about March 21, 2017, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 14 feet. The employees were performing sheathing activities on a new residential home located in Pepper Pike, Ohio 44124. Employees were cutting materials on the 2nd floor in front of a window opening that was unguarded.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about March 21, 2017, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 12 feet. The employees were performing sheathing activities on a new residential home located in Pepper Pike, Ohio 44124. The employees were working on the roof of the home without any form of fall protection. Znidco, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(14), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1150268, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 6/30/2016, with respect to a workplace located at Pepper Pike, Ohio 44124.
