29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: The employer failed to ensure that one or more methods of machine guarding, such as a barrier guard, was provided to protect employees from caught in hazards created by inadvertent contact with moving parts and rollers of the # 10 Bag Machine (HG Weber Model # 5XF, Serial # 2415), when accessing the area under the machine to clean glue spills.
