29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about March 22, 2017, and at times prior thereto, at the pipe roller area employees were exposed to a chain and sprocket conveyor system approximately 3-ft. from the floor without proper guards provided to prevent employees from contacting in-running nip points. Employees were exposed to caught in hazards.
