Abatement Note: The employer corrected this condition during the inspection. Applied Quick-Fix reduction.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): Flexible cords and/ or cables were used for purposes prohibited by paragraphs (A) As a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure; (C) Where run through doorways, windows, or similar openings; (D) Where attached to building surfaces: a) Production Bldg 135: On or about March 21, 2017, and at times prior, workers were exposed to electrical hazards where UF-B Sunlight Resistant 12/2 conductor was used as flexible cord with hazards including but not limited to: 1) Conductor fitted with a cord end (designed for direct box or panel connection). 2) Conductor not protected by conduit or raceway. 3) Rolling door and side hinged door closed on conductor. 4) Conductor physically attached to building structure with wire ties. Abatement Note: The employer corrected this condition during the inspection.
