Every enclosed workplace shall be so constructed, equipped, and maintained, so far as reasonably practicable, as to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents, insects, and other vermin. A continuing and effective extermination program shall be instituted where their presence is detected.  On or about 24 March 2017 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not provide a continuing and effective extermination program to prevent rodents from entering the restaurant, exposing the employees to the hazardous health effects due to rodent feces and disease.
